'The Price is Right' Host and Animal Activist was 99
According to his publicist, Bob Barker died at his home on August 26, 2023, a few months short of his 100th birthday.
In addition to being the well-known host of ‘The Price is Right’ for over 50 years, he founded a charity in 1995 called the DJ&T Foundation, named after his wife and her mother.
That foundation has donated a substantial amount of funding to Forest Animal Rescue over the years. Although the foundation ceased operations a few years ago, we will be forever grateful to the generosity of Mr Barker and his foundation. He will be missed
